i just watched the video now... and i wish i didn't.. I feel sick to my tummy... This reminds me when i used to go watch my older brother play hockey and when he would get hurt because of some trying to start .... fighting shouldn't be a part of the game... I love hockey and i used to play on an all guys team... i played for the love of the game (and cuz i wanted to follow in my brothers foot steps) and I'm glad there was no contact. I think this is going to far now... :(

Juss want to make some points..

Why does the media and the public call Bertuzzi a coward?? What he did was not cowardly! It was brutal and malicious but not cowardly.

Coward: One who shows ignoble fear in the face of danger or pain.

Bertuzzi has absolutely no fear of Moore. In fact, he called him out and Moore walking away. Bertuzzi can beat the crap out of Moore blindfolded.

About hockey fights, ya its been part of the game since old farts like King Clancy and Art Ross back in the 10's and 20's, and it won't change. Hockey has too much of a loyality from fans of the game to take out a part of the game that has always been there.

So a coward isn't someone who hits someone from behind because they can't hit them when they're facing them? I suppose someone who stabs someone else in the back isn't a coward either.

fighting has been part of society waaay before hockey was even invented, just because one sport lets it occur doesn't make it right!

this is a big contradiction!!!!

LMAO...are you ing serious? It is MOST DEFINITELY a cowardly move to sucker punch someone from behind, when they have no means whatsoever of defending themselves.

Afraid of him or not, was he THAT IMPATIENT that he had to jack him at that particular moment? Or did he say, "this guy won't fight me face to face...my only option is to hit him from behind when he can't duck or hit me back. the consequences will be all his fault. here I go...I hope he doesn't see, or he might run away."

that...there's no excuse for blind-siding someone. especially with the mialciious intent Bertuzzi had. No, he didn't mean to break his neck, but injury was the intent, as Moore did to Naslund.

At least Moore had the balls to open-ice Naslund, when he knew it was coming.
Vivid Boy
thats where ur wrong digitalmp....if ur intent is to injure u injure any way u can...ill sucker punch anyone..put it this way its hard to get me into a fist fight so if u somehow got me riled up enuff to fight u im not gonna be fighting for pride and honour im gonna fight to hurt u and badly any means possible...thats what bertuzzi did....bertuzzi for prime minister!
DigitalMP
that's some dirty . i'd like to go a couple rounds with Bertuzzi, and see how bad he is against someone his own size (or 20lbs lighter). i'd knock that ****** out.
Vivid Boy
u know whatdigitalmp i think bertuzzi would kick ur ass...no offense its just that hes been in his fair amount of fights...

DigitalMP
no offense...so have i. i'll give up 20 lbs for 4 inches.

but it's not about that. he's still a bitch for pulling a cheap shot from the back. i wonder if he has to do that to his wife when she won't lay still.
TrickDaddE
His wife is probably the boss in that relationship!
