that's what can create the problem: cheating!
It's only a theory, but I believe most people who have had several distance-relationships have cheated before. It just seems natrual, and for that reason I could never trust someone far away, just like that. |

Right well i don't know where everyone came up with the fact that they don't work long term but i must be a living contradiction to that statement then since i've been in a long distance relationship for over a year now. My boyfriend lives in Canada and i live in Ireland.
I don't see how or why it wouldnt work unless you weren't willing to work on it yourself.
Both my boyfriend and I work on our relationship and it works quite well. Obviously it's not the same as being in the same country but we both make an effort to see each other as often as possible.
All it takes is a little dedication ffs :whip: |

I personaly had a relationship online with this chica from china for 3 years but after spending 6 months discussing politics and stuff and always argueing ( like the fact that Taiwan is it's own country and does NOT belong to Mainland China and she's get so pissed off ) ..... She actually ended up cheating on me even sending me pics of her with the bastard when she announced it to me :wtf: But I honestly never believed in the relationship one bit ( that was for various personal reasons tough ). |

well its a bit of a long story... we were in HS together in gr 10 cuz i lived in canada for 2 yrs... then i left, we lost contact, and eventually in nov 2002 he found me again.
So i went back to see him and the rest is history :D |
