i think a separation in a relationship is healthy in a way. i mean it really test both individuals. it's a chance to see if you are really meant to be or not.
i have been in a long distance relationship a couple of years ago. it didn't work because i had other issues at the time. i really can't tell if i will be able to survive another long distance relationship. if i get the urge to see my darling, i will prob be in airports at wee hours, boarding a plane just to see his face. :D and other things too hehe.:p
it really depends though how you feel for that certain individual. and if its worth the long distance.

Man, long distance relationships are like a wind-up toy, you have to keep putting more and more into it to get it to keep moving. It's fine if both people take turns doing the work and give each other a break from time to time, but since there is usually one slacker in all relationships (short and long distance), the LDRs can't survive too long. |

yeah generally in relationships you always have the "talker" person, the "outgoing" one ... in most cases it's always the same person, and in a LDR well that's some beeyotch to work out if there's one lazy person who really doesn't put a whole lot of effort.
