i think a separation in a relationship is healthy in a way. i mean it really test both individuals. it's a chance to see if you are really meant to be or not.

i have been in a long distance relationship a couple of years ago. it didn't work because i had other issues at the time. i really can't tell if i will be able to survive another long distance relationship. if i get the urge to see my darling, i will prob be in airports at wee hours, boarding a plane just to see his face. :D and other things too hehe.:p

it really depends though how you feel for that certain individual. and if its worth the long distance.

cheers

What is your stance on these. Can they work or are they doomed to failure. Anyone involded in one that is working or have you been stung by one that went wrong? Do you have an 'Internet Girlfriend' ? :wtf: If so, how's it working out for ya?

Edit : I am seeing someone long distance so...um....yea!

Doomed to fail. A waste of time, money and emotions. Feelings...whatever.

now now let's not all be totally negative! There's hope where love is found! Let's please regroup, give each other a big group hug and then we shall all be prepared to go on our own ways on the wonderful road of life :p

Man, long distance relationships are like a wind-up toy, you have to keep putting more and more into it to get it to keep moving. It's fine if both people take turns doing the work and give each other a break from time to time, but since there is usually one slacker in all relationships (short and long distance), the LDRs can't survive too long.

yeah generally in relationships you always have the "talker" person, the "outgoing" one ... in most cases it's always the same person, and in a LDR well that's some beeyotch to work out if there's one lazy person who really doesn't put a whole lot of effort.

I'm basically repeating what you just said
