Here is a fresh new mix live from Linga Sharira @ Senserd Festival 2007, BZ. A great mix that starts off with some deep techno, almost goa-ish and acid like sounds. I almost had a trip listening to some of the tracks at the beginning  .Gets into the deep pads and into some trance like breaks and more deep techno stuff. Very good set and from what I hear the event went very well as well with a great rave like atmosphere. Haven't got a TL yet but I can ID some of 'em...n-joy.

Finally I’ve had some time to sit down and record the first promo mix of the year: only a lucky 13 days in. So far with all the great tracks coming in for 2007, I really can’t wait for what’s in store for the rest of the year.

This month there are two awesome double-feature artists in the mix: Hawk, and Richard Durand.

Kicking things off is Mark Knight with the melodic but punchy “Susan“. Following up is the first of our dynamic duo with Hawk, bringing us Ava Recording’s first track off the new digital sister label Ava: Digital, “You’re Mine“. Next is the other double feature with Richard Durand and “Sunhump 2006“. Later down the road we start to pick things up with a bit of tech sound as Sebastien Leger bangs out “Hit Girl” following up with a great techno tune with Valentino Kanzyani’s “Paradox“.

Mid-set promises a great remix of “CQ” by none other than Randy Boyer and Kristina Sky with a more grungy and filthy rendition of the original. This one will go over very well in the clubs I’m sure. Continuing with the energy is Joop with Trance Energy 2007’s anthem: “The Future” which is an absolute dance floor destroyer.

Enjoy this month’s set as it’s a great start to 2007.

Tracklist

01. Mark Knight - Susan (Original mix)

Hi

this set is a bit different from your regular trance oriented style. Are you changing styles or just experimenting?

I wouldn't say I'm consciously changing my style or specifically experimenting in something, but I constantly experiment with different genre's and ways to play different songs (if that makes any sense).

I still think it has a trance feel, but I have been moving more towards a more tech-oriented style of playing.

It's all about finding new ways to play a track and seeing how different songs work together.

Thanks for listening :)

I mean with tracks like hit girl and susan you cant go wrong i guess, but i think the trance thing is more your sound :haha:, not that other stuff imo. Chris Allen = tracks like Vivid Intent, not Hit girl.
