^^ There is a 2006 remix of spastik??
The original is so perfect, I can't imagine it being redone.
I did these mixes for my own enjoyment primarily, to have a mixed collection of some of my favorite house tracks.
The second mix is sort of an extension of the first, initially meant to be just pitched up and a bit more tribally than the first but ended up being WAY MORE GAY. I ended up throwing in a lot of the more circuit house tracks I heard when I first started to going to gay clubs about 6 or 7 years ago. So if you download it, don't say I didn't warn you about the screaming diva and thumping three step.
Oh, and I called these mixes "foreign territory" because I always feel so out of my element mixing proper house music. A vocal? What is that?

With the onset of summer, great friends and the inevitable return of Lazydaze Sundays... how could I not put a new mix together? This time I've tried to convey all the thoughts, feelings and excitement I have going into this time of year. Surrounded by good friends and a deep house scene that is as alive as it ever was.
Elemental is essientally what is the basics of good deep house. Deep rolling bass guitars, punchy dirty bass drums, funky rhythms and some good fun vocal stylings. I'm sure it will be something different to everyone.

Good tracklist and decent programming.
It does really show that you're a techno DJ as the transitions are short and doesn't blend in well, as in it's really noticeable when you're adding highs and mids of the next track. Works for techno, not so much for this type of house. Might want to give yourself more time to blend in the tracks with EQing.
Enjoyed the tunes. So when are you going to mix a hands in the air trance set? ;) |

It's the month of May and the spring is here.
This month's mix is warm and fuzzy progressive suitable for just relaxing. It starts off with some chilled and downtempo prog and builds up to uplifting prog and ends with some trancey stuff. Generally I wanted to create a calm and happy mood.
