"most tunes aren't worth listening to beyond like half a minute....i just pick out the best parts and relate them to the next tune....you know, programming is a hard skill to master....there's almost a psychology to it....pre-turntable era you had to segment your mind....think about a sequence rather than a mix....this is what i was taught....younger dj's don't know how to do that."

That quote comes from the guy who mixes quickly, just not that well(from what I was told)? And I think with techno there is less of the song worth listening to than other genres!

well if he thinks this way about his own prods....says a lot about him;)
anyway...this is just a kind of techno i dont like...nice to see others love it, but i really enjoyed Lawler a 100000000 times more
Mills was:o sorry Master
i really think its sucks that someone with this much respect around his name considers himself better than young djs...ESPECIALLY WHEN HES NOT:D

mastercongo
you guys confuse me. he never said he considers himself better than most young producers. he said the diffrence between him and the younger ones. now you mix lawler here, lawler has nothing to do with techno at all. :whip: and you don't have to be sorry :P that's what makes this music great. it has many styles and so people like diffrent things :) it's all good.
le castrateur
well hes saying that what hes doing cant be done by young djs....
im not mixing Lawler, im saying that overall, vibe, music, and skills( i dont give a if Mills mixes quick, imo every track is enjoyed by its progression, not only the part Mr prefers) were better on Saturday:D
