A question to those who claim Israeli actions and killing is not condemned internationally:
I believe none would argue that the killing/muder/assasination/bombardment (circle your favourite) of Ahmed Yaseen was heavily, widely condemned worldwide (Europe in specific).
Well then, how would you explain that killing of women and children, the innocent, passes without notice, while the killing of a terrorist leader is suddenly like oil to the fire? |

yes they are. but - you still have to remember that the disicion making in Israel is tottaly different, Israel is a Democracy.

its come to the point that throwing rocks at tanks is not enough for the israelis to take them seriously. They have been driven to madness by the occupation. Live in the shoes of a palestinian... watch your israeli neighbors dance in their night clubs while you and your family skip meals and hardly bathe becuase they are also taking your water. You stay home for weeks at a time under curfew.
Watch those IDF soldiers ridicule, shoot, beat up, murder the very people who they stole land from. What would you do if you were driven to madness, brainwashed and drugged by extremists, hate running through your veins. Would you sit there????
Labelling is very easy, understanding (something you dont try) is essential in analyzing these cases.

You, and everyone reading this forum know in their hearts of hearts that a soldier that shoots and kills at terrorist leaders, even if a civilians is killed in the crossfire is not the moral equivalent of a suicide bomber.

As far as I remember, Palestinians lived under PA rule during the years of Oslo. Guess what, Hamas still bombed (96 under Peres, 98 nder Netanyahu)

There seems no resolution to the conflict in the visible future. Both sides have a story to tell and it's about the other side terrorizing and oppressing them. Both sides have people seeking to hide an agenda beneath the guise of a legitimate plight.
I believe if somehow somebody or something managed to take one link out of the hate feeding cycle it would eventually die out. I see Israel as cornered, if they were to stop their attacks on military targets which camoflauge themselves in palestinian skin the amount of bloodshed in Israel would only go up as organization capabilities of the militants who have an inveterate hatred of Jewish blood would only increase. So they fight instead, knowing they will never completely resolve the issue, but instead hope to minimize it.
I naively think that the best option is integrating palestinians into another country. I imagine the situation would become much more clear cut. Of course when you consider the numbers of palestinians (and especially the cultural barriers unless it was another middle eastern country) the whole concept doesn't look so great anymore. Plus the fact their would be plenty of non-terrorist palestinians who refuse to abandon their "homeland" - given the option. |

but the reason they are being attacked is BECAUSE of the terrorists. If palestinians stopped then the israelis would stop. and if the israelis didn't then they'd be in big trouble by the international community. |

well the thing is that "palestine" is a failed society, but there is no reason to attack your wealthy neighbor because you are poor. thats crap.
look at mexico, their country is a failure but they don't hate the US like the palestinians hate the israelis. but the mexicans arn't brainwashed like the palestinians, but how are going to fix it unless israel takes some action to atleast try to stop it. oh, and giving them "their" land back won't magically make the hate go away either. |

If Israel didnt displace and occupy them,this mess wouldnt have occured. Palestinians didnt use suicide bombings until 28 years AFTER occupation! Israqel was the first to cause this . They were the ones that drove these people mad. |

What are you supposed to do when your ing airport and malls, and and roads and neighborhoods, and infrastructure, plumbing, water irrigation,..... EVERYTHING is systematically destroyed as a result of a few terrorists that kill a few civilians. Should the whole society suffer for it???

Dont use mexico to illustrate the plight of the palestinians. The US didnt steal their land and they are not an occupied race.

Please be aware that state sponsored terrorism is far worse than the trivial casualties of singular suicide bombers.
Its sad that terrorism is legal in Israel, they even enforce it ..everyone has to join the IDF. |
