i was discussing this with a friend and wondered if afterhours showcased their headline djs earlier like at 1am (opening at 10pm) would people go more?

I say yes.

what do guys think?
detective you
afterhour club isnt suppose to be earlier....i mean, theres so many people going there after leaving a club at 3am.....but i still see your point....
ahlamalek
yeah i know it may not make sense... but wouldn't people be more tempted if the schedules were less crazy?

and that they leave the after around 10am....
so the good time to hear the head liner is from 3 to ....whatever time he plays.

I think it would also reduce the amount of drugs in Aria, I think it also depends on the night, on a tiesto night you could do it at any time of the day and it would still pack out!

Alec... why you saying aria... i am talking about Malek's afterhour, a hypothetical place that doesn't exist right now :p hehe

but seeing a DJ in a club is a different thing...
for example Tiesto @ Living, last november...
ahlamalek
why wouldn't 1-1:30am till whatever for the headliner not work ??

i am trying to fuel debate here...
DJ Charlie
Are you trying to tell us that the DJs would probably play longer if it was like that ?

ahlamalek
if they would play longer ? yeah maybe....

but my point was if MORE people would go check those EDM events...

I dunno, personally, I would prefer an earlier start to the night, but I may not represent your average clubber, who may wanna go drinking somewhere first. The hours work fine in Ottawa, but then again, Ottawa ain't Montreal. Toronto is in between Ottawa and Montreal for timing, usually on at 2 or so
