The Palestinians really have noble goals when they strap bombs to their own children?

Soldiers catch Palestinian boy, 12, wearing explosive belt

Israel Defense Forces paratroopers caught a Palestinian boy, aged 12, wearing an explosive belt at the Hawara roadblock south of Nablus in the West Bank on Wednesday afternoon.
Sappers used a remote-controlled robot to remove the belt from the boy's body and then safely detonated it in a controlled explosion.
The boy was taken in for questioning.
The army believes that the boy was meant to detonate the belt near the soldiers or near the nearby army base.
The IDF commander at the roadblock told Army Radio on Wednesday that the youth had run toward the soldiers and intended to blow himself up next to the troops.
"This is another horrific example of how the Palestinians use their own children to spread terror against Israelis," David Baker, an official in the prime minister's office, said in response.
"These children are turned into human time-bombs for the purpose of spreading as much terror against Israelis as possible," Baker said.
Just last week, soldiers found an explosive charge on a cart pushed by a 10-year-old Palestinian boy at the same roadblock.
The soldiers released the boy after it transpired that he did not know what was in the bag he was carrying through the barricade.
Also in the territories on Wednesday, an IDF soldier was lightly wounded in a shooting attack near the Gaza settlement of Gadid. Israeli troops returned fire.
Palestinian gunmen also opened fire on IDF troops west of Ramallah; no casualties or damage were reported.
Two Israeli soldiers were lightly wounded by Palestinian stone-throwers in two separate incidents in the West Bank.
IDF troops on Tuesday night foiled an attempt by two Palestinian militants to infiltrate into the settlement of Morag in the southern Strip.
The soldiers spotted an armed Palestinian approaching the settlement and opened fire. After the area was searched in the morning hours Wednesday, two bodies of armed Palestinians were discovered. No Israelis were injured in the incident.
According to defense establishment figures, since the beginning of the intifada, there have been 29 Palestinians under the age of 18 who carried out suicide attacks, and 22 others under 18 who carried out "sacrificial attacks" - in which they opened fire and were killed - in the territories. Forty others under 18 were arrested on suspicion of intending to carry out attacks. |

Bunch of sickos.
Apart from the fact that committing suicide is a cowardly act to begin with, sending children to do it for you is really pathetic. Anyone who thinks this is acceptable should simply be put down. They're supposed to be fighting the fight for their children, so they can grow up to a better life, not using them as fodder. |

You dont think you need guts n balls to have kilos of explosives around you and walk to the target and detonate yourself? Hmmm, i really think you do need balls to do that....maybe not an appropriate way of solving the conflict, but surely not a cowardly act! |

It takes far more courage to live and struggle like everyone else on this planet. Suicide is the easy way out.
Every time one of these kids blows themselves up I think maybe he or she may have been a great lawyer and gone to the international court one day argue for the Palestinian cause, or been a future Palentinian head of state, perhaps the first. A lot of people don't even start on the path they will follow for the rest of their life until they're late 20's, early 30's, and these kids are teens early 20's. Just such a waste. |

Lol, u make it sound so simple. Suicide can b achieved by pullin a trigger, by jumpin off a roof by doin that or this, but to walk with bombs around u n then blowin urself up is different (although still a suicide). Damn, wtf, u do need balls. Dont say it's a cowardly act...lol....
The only reason why i would say it's tougher to stay alive is cuz u may have to go through pain and other things and you just dont know when exactly u're gonna die, but seriously, suicide attacks NEED balls.... |

Who needs balls when you've got scumbags like Yassin telling you you're going to get to sodomize 70 virgins in paradise?
If mullahs were saying "Islam condemns the murder of civilians, whether jewish or muslim." Then it would take some courage to do a suicide bombing... |

They are trained since early years of childhood to sacrifice themselves for the cause. Sounds sick and immoral, but that how it's done. |

Reread what I wrote.. I said "scumbags like Yassin" that means I was referring to people who preach similar things.. Like... Sheikh Raid Salah who I quoted above... |

| i heard about this last nite. Is this the 2nd time a child was caught doing this? From what i heard, he was paid only $23 to blow himself up at a roadblock. |

Ah ok it all makes sense now. It's like sweatshops in China where they use child labor ... it costs less to pay a kid suicide bomber than an adult. Somebody please champion equal opportunity rights for these children so they can get paid just as much as any other suicide bomber. And has anybody looked into the disparate working conditions of female suicide bombers yet? We need to get rid of the glass cieling! :rolleyes: |
