Fully loaded(packed) E450 Cube van-over 150, under 160...it actually drives nice.
99 Honda accord V6 180 with no effort to it
my 97 golf k2 w/ 4 passengers rattles when it goes over 110
and without the passengers, it doesnt go over 120 |

fastest i gone in a car?
320km/h in a 89 Lotus Espirit on a test run on some oval race track up north. The driving was done by a pro test driver and we were doing max speed/accel tests. Reason i had to get in the car was cuz the track's scopes couldn't fit in the car so we couldn't target the car remotly.
it was fun.... he did the driving, i did the readings. lotta fun. |

i had no clue that the espirit could do 200mph...i thought it topped out at around 180mph??
fastest ive ever been in a car was 245km/h, as a passanger, my older cousin decided he wanted to race a bike, in his BMW 735il. crazy , especially when we flew by a cop! he just kept on it, and we never saw that cop again!
fastest ive ever drove was 160km/h, i know not very fast only 100mph:( |

| Fastest I ever went was 210kph in my Audi. It was the night of the blackout last summer on the 407. Highway was completely empty and it was at night, so there was no light for the cameras to a take a pic… so it was a free and empty road =) I was cruising with my buddy who was drivin his WRX. Good times haha |

I've gone 130kph with a passenger in a Firefly, soem rural farmland
the next day the car needed to go in for transmission repair :p

I have a 6 y/o immediate family member with permantent brain damage after someone rear ended the car they were in going 140 km/h on the 401 (family member's car was going 105 km/h).
The back end of their car was crushed, she was in the back seat in a child's seat - but the force and crushing of the rear pushed the child seat into the back of the passenger seat - fracturing her skull and causing swelling of the brain.
This was about 6 months ago. She left the hospital 2 weeks ago. She's still learning how to talk again, feed herself, recognize people.
She has a 6 y/o body - and the brain of a 1 y/o.
Who wants a trophy now? |

^^ RJ, this is exactly what I'm talking about.
Has one person even posted that they were going 140? No...everyone posted much much faster speeds.

I'm not saying don't drive fast.
What I am saying is do it in a controlled environment, with proper equipment (not some beat up box) and only after proper training.
Putting random people at risk isn't acceptable in my books. I'm fortune that the other two family members walked away with only deep tissue bruising and concusions. |
