This track is called Entangeler and is from a group of tracks under the Alias, Luana. I havnt had any releases as of yet but i will try sending this out to a few people and see if it gets anywhere :)

Good trance track. I think it's a bit overcompressed or so. At the main part I can't hear the claps and I hardly hear the hihats.. At the break at the end they all fade in all of a sudden, so the sounds are recorded a bit too loud..? Try too look at it.
Synths are cool, piano is nice it gives emotion to the track. Great stuff. |

| compression is purposeful to give it an f and w or solid globe sound. its not that the sounds are too loud. but ill reduce that if u dont think it works? its compressed around the kick drum so the kick is the compressors trigger and everything else is compressed around that. it means that the beat sounds more defined and the bits without a beat are flowy. u not think it works? cheers for opinion tho |

Yeh I see what you mean, it gives some sort of waving effect. I think it's just not really my style. It does work for some people :D
Decide for yourself what to do, you could reduce it a bit IMO. Do you use sidechaining for this? I'd like to experiment with it... |

| yeah thats right sidechainging using the kick as the trigger and everything else gets affected by it. It does need remasting tho i agree with u. i will spend longer setting up the compressor :):whip: |

Very very interesting melody in the first couple seconds of the song! I love it. Its like its asking me a question or something.
Ive never heard a melody with such grace before.
This song is a pleasant suprise. In my opinion, its not your typical trance tune. I feel like I havent heard a melody with this type of feel before.
Overall, fantastic work.

these are fantastic compliments guys :) its nice that i can connect to ppl thru my music. I like that you feel like its asking you a question! In my eyes, the thing that makes trance music such a powerful genre of music, is that its the artists idea of perfection. it portrays their emotions, and when an artist has reached a level at which others can recognise the emotions that he was feeling when he made the track, i think that artist can know hes succeeded. Not everything can be described in words, but i think that those things that cant be described in words, can be described in trance. Maybe im the only one who thinks like this, maybe im wierd? But i feel like ive succeeded and im pleased for that :) Thanks again guys, i will post any new tracks that i do :)

That thing you're talking about is not called "Trance". It's called music.
Strong thing about trance is that the instruments needed to make it can be easy to use. So many people can make it. Making GOOD trance is the harder part, you need time (and money). The progress can be accelerated with talent. Also, the sky is the limit if one's talented. |
