does anyone remember that recent article in the Star about the Turks & Caicos Islands being denied admission into Conferderation .. ?? wells there's actually a group out there that's still pushing for this move and u can check out their site .. here:

They hope to bring the proposal back to the table after there's more public support and attention brought to this issue ..
i just figure that some ppl here might be interested in having a Canadian Province located somewhere in the Carribean .. ;)

i don't remember them being denied entry... no one in the Canadian govt bothered with it or looked into it seriously.
Until now, Paul Martin gave a mandate to someone (forgot his name) and he's supposed to analyze the question and come with a recommendation!
Heard, its one of the worst islands in the Carabeean tho... hope its not true :P |

unlike some current Canadian provinces some of these guys actually want to be apart of Canada.. ;) :toothless :crazy:

its a nice island. Not at all one of the crummy ones.
I mean, its not developped like some of them..but its not crummy.
depending on what they want( the hurrican relief!) I wouldnt see reason against it |
