Anyone catch this tonight? Man, how interesting that was. It gave the history of Ecstasy use in the states.

I taped half of it.

I thought it was excellent, even show'd how the american "fear" was impossed on this drug. Also had some interesting points about some of the past studies done on E.
Very well done doc.

i got the whole thing recorded aswell

the most amazing part of the report was that it was the first time i saw an unbiased presentation about a drug ... it highlighted how E has changed peoples lives while at the same time detailed the harmful effects of long term E use ... i loved the line "People today are so obsessed with what science has to say that they dont even want to see facts with their own eyes".

I caught about 5 minutes of it on my way out the door...from what I saw, I was at least happy to see both sides being presented. Most reports on e are ridiculously biased and ignorant.

you rarely see the side of the long term users who seems fine...you always see the "one e can cause permanent brain damage" side, or are told about how some girl died from e (without even a toxicology report to back that up)

Im the first to bash the media for its biased deliverance of information and this documentary was no different. The difference here was that it showed the bias of both sides in equal light, which a good documentary does. A+ for the work done by the American Media for once..... PHD E Promoters vs. the DEA .... lovely documentary!

Curious George
I thought that it was very well done as well, especially the first segment about the guy characterizing psychotropic drugs. An unbiased report that was actually informative. Now I can only hope that it was watched by a wide audience with an open mind.
