paul is amazing...his mix of trance/techno/house/breaks keeps him above tiesto. I miss the old tiesto that was straight tech trance ....
/me misses te 2000
and armin is way below both paul and tiesto |

Personally I'm not a Tiesto fan, but the DJs I've seen recently that have been excellent mixers and also have done great sets have been:
Markus Schulz (cos he has his own sound)
Above & Beyond
PVD (always great)
Ferry
Ferry's change of style is about time and has saved him if you ask me, and I think above & beyond are the people who bring the uplifting sound up to date and can push the scene forward - pure class. |
