In terms of toys, I actually liked the go-bots better... they transformed easier... blasphemous, I know, but it's true.
PS - Erika, I think your yellow beetle may have been a GO-BOT. Did the Go-Bots actually have a show? The toys were pretty good. |

Shockwave WAS DEFINITELY the !! Especially when all we knew of the Transformers were when they were crashlanded on Earth and we never really saw any other "un-earthly" robots/vehicles (so to speak).
I think Shockwave should have been able to kick Megatron's ass if they both transformed into their guns...
BTW... I never had the "Cool" ones (well, i did have Sideswipe -- the Ferrari and a few others). I really wanted Soundwave with all his tapes (Ravage and uhm.. the two birds... Frenzy was it? and .. can't remember.. so long ago)
And the Dinobots were SO wicked on the show! Grimlock!!! Wicked!
