ah nice has a 5 starrating on ebuyer and is 20 quid cheaper than the 380, thanks a lot man, i guess ill never know how much you saved me, but thanks anyways.. one other thing.. im prolly not gonnabe able to afford this PSU for 2 weeks.. do you reckon i should wait until i get the PSU, or should i be ok for a while? |
I'd wait for the new PSU without a doubt. You're gonna have to remove the old one, and that means removing your motherboard and stuff if you're gonne do it safely.
The wait might be kind of annoying, but it makes it all the sweeter when you turn on your PC for the first time. I swear, you'll be like "it's alliiiive, IT'S AALLLIIIVEEE!!!!"
The one thing that comes to mind though is that, if any of the other parts you ordered that are due in tomorrow are faulty, you won't know until 2 weeks from now, and by then, you might have some problems RMAing, etc. (depends where you got them from). What you might want to do is borrow the money from a friend for the PSU and buy it ASAP, just to be safe. This way you can find out fairly quickly if you need to RMA any of your parts or anything, and save some trouble.
Yea I know, kinda complicated just to get a decent PSU, but better safe than sorry. I don't want to be making all your decisions for you, lol, just my 2 cents. You make the final call. :) |

I still like film better for some reason. Digital is good for convenience (ex. night out in the town with a Canon S410), but for pro photography, I'd still rather go film. |
