| I think that trance for both girls and guys. My girlfriend likes trance, but probably only because I listen to it. She defineatly likes the more uplifting tunes compared to deeper darker, more progressive tracks. |

I mixed a CD for my girlfriend. If I remembered correctly, this is the tracklist:
1. BT - Flaming June
2. Iio - Rapture (Rive rmx)
3. DJ Tiesto - Leathal Industry
4. System F - Out of the Blue (DJ Commie rmx)
5. Orinoko - Island (Moogwai rmx)
6. Gouryella - Tenshi (Transa rmx)
7. Push - Legacy
8. Junk Project - Composure
9. David Forbes - Question Must be Asked (Magica rmx)
10. Plastic Angel - Pascale
Although it doesn't have the best mixing, but I hand picked the tunes that I really liked and felt would represent the beauty of trance music.
When it comes to Girls and Trance, I think they prefer catchy, melodic, and uplifting songs. |

Its seems that trance is listened by boys more then girls...but there is sure a lot of girls that listen to trance....girls like dancing trance all kinds but prefer to listen to other stuff (The most common)
But I know girls that like the good hard stuff and the nice stuff t00 :) |

Get your girls listen to Dumonde , Lasgo , Ian Van Dahl , DJ tiesto - (Close to you) or any track with voacls
They'll frequent the clubs more |

| My girlfriend likes some tunes, like the Tiesto remix of Delerium-Innocente, or the Ferry Corsten remix of Barber's adagio for strings (her favorite of my vinyl collection :) ) She doesn't like the cheesy stuff, and I'm very pleased with that. But she is more into R&B and Hiphop. I love her though :D |

| well in my optinion... (i aint read all the thread) or in my view, i find that girls like mainly the floaty fun uplifting trance and guys tend to like a bit harder edged, like moi! |

Well there definitely seems to be a dominant male presence on this forum...and I don't know any other girls that are into trance like me. So yes, perhaps trance is more appealing to boys than girls.
But I'm the exception :D I listen to uplifting, epic trance, the progressive side of trance...pretty much everything. |
