I'm from the US and here girls dominantly listen to r&b and hiphop(at least the ones I know) cuz that's what they hear on the radio. It's too hard for them to find trance tunes for themselves...maybe they're just too lazy to look. It sucks here for trance, but there are SOME girls who go to the trance clubs...maybe they just go cuz they love to dance though, dunno...???

back in the day, i only knew one girl that liked trance and she was the one that told me to download Ian Van Dahl - Castles in the Sky!
I dated another girl several years ago and she listened to primarily Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, etc . .(trust me, she wasnt goth)
At the time, i was very new into the trance scene and had brought her with me on a date so i could buy Oakies 2 years @ Cream Cd. On the ride home that night, i popped that sucka in the car and listened on the way home and on our next date . . . .she ended up taking ME to the store and she bought like $120 worth of trance music. . . . mainly Ministry of Sound and some Oakie cds. . . .but thats a big change!

My opinion; go to a nightclub and there's a good mix of girls and guys, and most of the girls I know are just as knowledgable about the music as I am. "girls go clubbing coz they like to dance" LOL. Stupid. |

Girls like trance too,they just aren't as nerdy as us guys.Most of them don't follow the djs and new releases like hounds as we do,they just go to a club,party like hell and then if a certain track or two stands out to them,they'll track it down by charming us guys silly,saying "look at me,I'm a girl!And I like trance,too!":p
