i can,,,i've probably seen this guy play about 50 or 60 times....The gatecrasher parties were superb....When i saw him at Gatecrasher(2000 GC) on the Millenium eve he was class...Everything he played that night he had remixed for that occasion...When i used to see him play in the early nineties he'd play stuff that would make you run up to the booth to have a look at which tune it was,,he'd hold up the record covers so that everyone could see what he was playing,,he was ing special...NOW its a totally different story,,he plays stuff that kinda passes you by without you even noticing..plodding predictable with no hook..id be surprised if he still picks his own records,,he doesnt even carry his own record boxes FFS...mate i could go on and ing on..he just aint got the spark anymore,,acting is the only thing on his mind getting into movies,,trust me......Ive said it before and ill say it again...my dad even thinks he's up his own arse.... |

| Ok, basically... just to make it easy on you... pvd used to be creative with what he spun. A set full of PvD Reworks doesnt exactly qualify in my book as a skilled set. Also, the fact that "pvd is predictable as" you taking a leak in the morning. He lost the original flow, the highlight of pvd at roxy in february was the part at about 4AM when he spun some out of this world hard that nobody knew. If he did that more often, instead of playing all the same nonsense for a year straight, I would be more appreciative and maybe I would like him more. Hes been playing NBY since 08/16/02 in Cream Amnesia, and Michi can vouch for that since he was there - that track should have been out of his record box atleast 5/6 months ago. His sets just arent as fun as his past ones. |

Ok, editing every track the way you want it vs. just playing the track. When you edit every track, there is no more difficulty to the mixing because you know the entire track because you mixed it. Simple as that. And as for hearing tracks live, obviously I havent because I just recently started going out to clubs, but as for whether I know the tracks, all the tracks with <-- I know and some of which I already heard. Most of the other stuff are prob just promos we will hear a couple times from him and thats it, and prob wont even get released. |

Maybe Paul still plays NBY and other token tracks because he himself likes em..
i dunno, if you made a track that you really liked and it might mean something special to you, perhaps you would put it in all your sets as well?
just a thought, tho i do agree going on 2 years now he should be ekeing it by now. |

Lee my Dad is mates with Simon Raine and Geoff Oates,,so i find out like this. PVD is spending too much time persuing an acting career...i know for a fact he dont chose his own records.... |
