people aren't entitled to an opinion?
maybe we all jumped around BEFORE he went downhill. no one claimed that they have never liked pvd, just that he has become a lot different than what he used to be.
at least he has a defense lawyer if need be...

I went to pvd @ summerstage because I had never seen him before, and it was my first really big event like that. I went in November hoping that there would be a different style set from Summerstage because Summerstage was a promo tour - but I didnt get to hear the entire set because Roxy's sound system sucked that night, but from as much as I heard, it was ok... nothing special. I went in February just because it was something to go to get out of the house and be with all of my friends and be stupid. And dont misjudge what Im saying, because Im saying this as of the present, the old pvd I absolutely love - but the old pvd has gone and were stuck with someone who just stopped caring.
Listen to Paul van Dyk @ Rosenmontagsrave [11-02-2002], this set is absolutely immaculate. This set was probably the pivot point in his career from which everything started to go downhill.
PvD has the ability to be what everybody claims him to be, but whether he wants to do it... is up to him. Its a shame what fame does to people. |
