don't be too hard with prodigy ....i like their work and i think they were precursor with all their work for the electronic music ....fat of the land is an old album ...and i love it u may not like it ....but it doesn't mean it's ty so don't judge too fast ...prodigy never said they would play trance or so ...if sure u was expecting some trance music i guess ....haha it was disappointing
i think insteading of making harsh comments about prodigy u should rather get some respect !:whip: |

You have a rather bad taste in music, if you don't like The Prodigy and Airdrawndagger.
What do you say, people? I say he needs to go back to his HHC :whip: |

Without the prodigy, electronic music would be nothing like it is today.
groundbreaking and hugely important.
I agree that fat of the land is not a patch on experience and jilted generation, or what evil lurks, but its still massively important.
 |

| i'm just gotta sit down before i grab a bat. dont bitch to us that "we forced" u into buyin the album. there are sites that have clips of the songs. but whatever..i look at your threads and laugh.. if it werent for prodigy and other great artists of that time, dance music would be far behind what it is today... |

I bought their album "Fat Of The Land". I don't like it. I can't see how anybody likes it. Maybe it's their private joke, to see how many people they can fool into buying ?
Seriously, everybody, admit it. You don't like them. You only say you do.
Examples: Breathe, Diesel Power (lyrics, even!), Firestarter |

And to all you others, yes, I will make a thread everytime I listen to something that people say is good but really is horrible. |
Maybe u should STOP it. Why do you want to hear the same things over and over again. If you say something sucks there will probably be someone who agrees and someone who doesn't. Whatever you say you will get the same kind of replies to every thread. If you don't like what people recommend to you then don't listen to them. Listen to the kind of music that you like and don't try to be cool and listen to the same music as everyone else does if you really don't like it. Music is all about taste you know.....
And btw the fat of the land is one hell of an album... |

Fat of the Land and Music for the Jilted Generation are two of the greatest albums ever made
how dare you question the brilliance of Prodigy. |

So many good tracks on the album - smack my bitch up is an absolute monster of a track. Also, Breathe was huge. It was number one for several weeks here in Australia, and probably all around Europe as well im guessing. People who would usually have nothing to do with electronic music were loving it.
DJ Cinos, you are a gimp. |
