It took long enough, but I'm finally back with my third tune. Bit of a harder effort this time, so I hope you lot don't hate it. :p

Ambia - First Sign (Original Mix)
(7:51, 10.7MB, 192k/s)

Feedback would be so much appreciated... :)

Hey, your track is pretty tight in production, you really have some skills. Track has a lot of variety, i like it. Melody and the synth used for it (1st) could be better (both a bit simple), but other than that, great uplifting track!

Counter-thingy (or just 2nd lead) coming up at 3:50 is cool, much better than the 1st! Melody isn't really catching me, but that might just be personal.

Good work.

*listening*

can hear improvment right from the start :)
melodie that come's in sounds nice

the second melodie also sounds nice... doesn't really do it for me thou.

third melodie.. also sounds nice.. but doesn't really do it for me either... and imo it sounds kinda thin.. think there could be more power in it. well.. maybe not more power to the melodie, but it all could need more power in that part.
the melodie that come's in about 05:35 or something sounds kinda nice... but i don't really think the style of it fit's with the rest...

and i think the kick should stand out more.. have more power in it.

all i can think of now m8 :)
but sounds much better then last track =)

Ehm... don't like this at all I'm afraid.
It's your typical sawlead ridden mediocreness that's been done way too many times before. Technically I can't fault it (apart from the lacking bass and overpowering sawlead) but this is the kind of stuff I can't stand personally.

Yeah, I was expecting mixed opinions about this and sorry you didn't like it, but it's only my 3rd tune and it's just a style I wanted to try out...

Hopefully you'll like my next tune better Nik. :)

first thing came to my mind: ASOT!!!!
hehe
the first minute is pure ASOT track
the kick is ok, maybe make it louder a little
the bass sounds like its too in, i cant explain, needs to be louder and more out there, like reverb + treble maybe i dunno
muddy, thats what it sounds like, muddy
they synth is good just needs a touch of Equalizing to do
the percs id say pure louder
good melody, good track
keep us updated if ur continuing it ;)

Hi mate,
This is quite good. Love the intro! The bass is good :D. Overall nice synths, Atmosphere. The only thing i didnt like was that supersaw synth, i have to agree with mr mystery. Still prefer " Nowhere to run " ;).
Cheers.
