I liked that Korg Polysix sound a lot. Was it from the original hardware Polysix or from the soft synth equivalent I assume is included in the Legacy collection? |

Here's a cool one...another saw but more gritty. My ears are so fatigued :(...and I have water in them from the swimming pool today, so it's not going to sound too clean.:)

most of the stuff is pretty interesting... some impressive stuff.
can anyone tell me how you bend the sounds like most of these are? what kinda stuff can i use to tweak my sounds like that? is it automated cutoff or resolution or something? how is it done.. what is it called? i wouldn't know where to start. i never asked before.
im guessin that kinda thing is a nice skill to have.. anyone mind teachin a little bit? |

Well, you were the first one to tell me the title of the song I was looking for so the least I can do is give you tips. :gsmile: But I don't understand what you mean by bend the sound. :) |

the most sounds here are slightly detuned saw oscs.. the resonace arond 1/4 and the cutoff can completly opened and closed.. |

I think you mean the cutoff? E.g. that Polysix 2-sample started with no cutoff, and came up to full or almost full cutoff, and then a fast drop down to no cutoff in the end. |

Exactly. You just detune the oscillators opposite of each other, some delay, reverb, shape the envelopes to your liking, combine filters...that'll add your little flavor so it's your own sound and not something that everybody plays, like the Airwave Super Saw from the JP8080. :p |
