the tb303 is a roland bass guitar emulator :P |
It was a TB303 sound, but yes, it was in a TS404. Sorry I didn't clarify.
I tried adding a reverb to it, but the Fruity reverb is extremely crappy. I know this isn't the right thread to ask in, but does anyone know of a good downloadable reverb plugin I could possibly use for this sample? |

Nice lead with the V-station. Do you have patch available? |
i'm not sure how the whole patch system works with v-station,but it shouldn't be that hard to get this sound, just use 3 saws,2 at octave 0 and 1 at octave -1,detune them all a bit, crank up the unison to 3 or more if you want an even fatter sound, add some chorus and you're done... |

Xer0, that sounds very good and doesn't sound like FL, so you did a good job. A nice long reverb would make it sound very professional. :D |
There's a depth in the hardware examples that's not programmed right in the softsynth department. Except for the V-Station Examples.
The fruity examples are muddy, the hardware examples including the V-Station Lead have depth etc. Try to come close to the depth of hardware by programming your softsynth right.
Soon some work of mine in reason.BJ Lead |

Why do you mention hardware examples when V-Station is software? Just curious. Explain again because it's hard to understand what you tried to say there. :) |

My opinion is that his lead sounded 100x better than yours; I didn't notice it muddy, but maybe I'm going deaf for being exposed to helicopters everyday :p. What monitors are you using? :) |

Here's a cool one...another saw but more gritty. My ears are so fatigued :(...and I have water in them from the swimming pool today, so it's not going to sound too clean.:)

This one is ok, although I can't hear much of the lead. It sounds distorted.

Her you have a muddy lead. What I mean is you hear the saw and there's nothing behind the lead.
And this one is the lead under these leads. Briliance, depth etc.
Now I gave some precise info RiCo, now it's your turn ;)
Please comment your "his is 100x better than yours" |

Ehm just read the sentence before. There I end with software, and in the next sentence I say only VStation example is a lead I like. |

Oh ok now I understand...:)
What I mean by his lead is better than yours, and didn't say it in a neg. way or instigating way, but more of an open minded way, is because his sounds more thick; more trancy. Yours sounds...hmm...I can't explain it, haha :p
I still can't notice his muddiness...you said you can't hear the lead, just the saw. I still can't get your picture. :( |

Well you could say it's more tranzy but, the V-Station example is fat, and his is muddy, too thick in my opinion:) |

Yeah the V-Station is phatter. I have it, too, but don't play with it too much because of the Nova...I'm more of a hardware guy. :) |

Here's one I posted in another thread...it's a modified Capella melody using the Nova.

And another one I made this morning using the Virus Rack.

'Synth Test'
melody repeated 3x while i messed around with the waveform, the 3rd repeat has a lower pad added to it,sounds like with the melody, but i figured i'd throw it on there so you can hear what the lower end sounds like ;)
