I'm definitely a debater when it comes to prolife issues.. but i've decided in the years to take a step back on the activism.. especially cuz in my years of running a prolife group on our college campus.. i thought it was best to be active with those seeking help!
Truthfully idont' think that there is anything that a prolifer can do at this poitn to prevent woman from having abortions..
BUT the facts.. abortions are the only surgical procedure that doesn't require the doctors to be honest with the patient.. and it doesn't require them to tell them what will happen during the procedure.. in fear that it can cause a woman to choose life in fear... this is proven facts.. look it up.. a woman's right to choice has led to many many deaths in this country!.. My personal opinion.. THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!! I did a test on this a couple years ago and asked a couple different abortion clinics questions.. I pretended to be pregnant and asked such things as the stage my child was in.. and of 6 abortion clinics on 2 didn't lie to me!.. I stated very plainly.. I'm scared about this decision and I don't want to have an abortion if the baby is developed.. I told them when my last period was.. (peeps i've had three kids!! -- .. you tell me if this doesn't look like a baby or have a heartbeat).. i asked if i could hear the baby to make sure it didn't have a heartbeat.. they said don't worry we don't have to do that.. i said i was 10 weeks pregnant..
here is my son at just a couple months ...
here is my daugher but this is later in the pregnancy
i'll have to scan the ones of my son at 8 weeks.. but AWE!!!.. it was taken using the new radiology equipment from this place here in fairfax.. by far the best equipment like EVER!!

and a woman who has an unwanted baby leads to several societal issues-- poverty, abuse, HIV, drugs....giving life is not always the best choice, hence, abortion.
how would you feel if someone told you you weren't allowed to have the 3 kids you have now? it isn't their place to tell you. you made the choice to have your kids, because that was the best decision for you. but honey, a lot of people aren't as fortunate as you or i. and while i don't support getting an abortion as means to cover up your mistakes, i do think it is the best solution for a lot of women out there. |

There is no god. A decision is between the two people that are considering to have an abortion. A child is a responsibility for both of them, physically and financially. I haven't seen god sent a child support payment.

hahaha.. really??? I'm not going to get into the things that happened that led to the birth of my children.. I love them.. I choose life! and when I was seventeen I did what I considered my child my own and no one elses and I wasn't going to kill her just so i could have a better life! Period!
anayways! simply stating something both sides should fight for! While abortion is still a choice in this country. it deffinitely shouldn't be unregulated! Thats what i was stating above!! I don't believe in abortions.. and I've very prolife.. and I do what i can!
I started the prolife group on campus to provide girls who thought they didn't have any other choice or anyone there to help them, an option! I believe in prolife activists that work in a positive manor.. there isn't any benefits to showing the gross deaths and mangled children...
but here is one of hte biggest problems i have with that ed up woman's right to choose... because the pro-choice peeps are trying to convince peeps that babies in the womb aren't real.. they are "fetus'" they take a vacuum and dismember the baby.. adn they don't provide this child with any anestetic and it ing happens every ing day! think about that ED UP FOR A MOMENT>.. criminals are killed by leathal injection.. but because a woman has the right to kill her baby in her womb.. it has no right to at least not feel that pain.... a baby has EVERYTHING it needs to grow by 8 weeks!!! which includes a nervous system.....
I CAN"T OBVIOUSLY WIN THE WOMAN"S RIGHT TO CHOOSE.. but my god.. do doctors have to figure out the most painful way to kill this child.. and not provide it any pain relief...
sorry if i think abortions are the worst in thing another human can do to such an innocent one!! |

Thats true..this would be the only solution for these women. But I don't think we should accecpt this and make abortion sound like its some wonderful right for women. You should condem these people. Just as you would condem a murderer. I don't care what decision they make about abortion. Thats between them and God. |

that is really good for you and your child. But would you not agree that one solution isn't the best for all people?
How about the crack-whore down the block that got knocked up by a john, is still using and whose child will be a lifetime addict, provided that it survives birth at all?

so you want the GOVERNMENT to regulate who can and cannot have a child/ abortion? In all honesty, this country still CLAIMED to be the land of the free. In China, people are only allowed to have 1 kid/ family. Therefore people opt to get abortions a lot of times, since they want to have a son not a daughter.
I think that the government has no right to tell people how to live their lives. This includes choosing to terminate a pregnancy.
Now I do agree that abortions should not be allowed to be done after the child has reached a certain stage. What this stage is, I do not know, since I don't know enough about pregnancy.

Given my lack of knowledge about how abortions are done, I have no idea on how such a termination is actually facilitated. Could anestestizing (spelling is off I bet) a baby make an abortion harder/ impossible?
Are there funds available for research into abortion practices and how much pain the baby feels? Even if there were, wouldn't many "pro-life" people object to this research in general? |
