| I think we need to educate people about practicing safer sex (contraceptives both for the male and female) so that people who don't want a child never end up having one. On top of that, I feel that a fetus should only be aborted in dire circumstances (ie. rape baby, mother's life is in danger, baby will have a debilitating disability [life threatening], etc.). Other than that, I think a baby has every right to life, even if safe sex was practiced and the woman gets pregnant, they should still have to bear the child because the couple knew that even with safer practices, they can still be at risk of getting conceiving a child. |

but as far as the abortion issue, I am pro-choice all the way. However, there is no excuse for unsafe sex. Accidents do happen though, believe me. |

well, i've kept myself out of this, but after hearing a song that i forgot about, i decided to post. :toocool:

anyway, i used to be prochoice, but i've recently changed to prolife. my main position is who knows who that baby would've turned out to be. your baby could be the next albert einstein, sir issac newton, charles darwin, ludwig von beethoven... you will never know. and i'm sure the eternal pesimists will say that the baby could turn out to be the next charles manson or john wayne gacy, but i'm an optimist. that baby does have a future, but will never ever live it. |
