I like the old stuff (dreaming, godspeed, remember just to name a few) His recent stuff are pure ! The vocals are just not doing it! What a pop star:whip:
Open for good debate,
and flames! |

| The downfall of BT occurs everytime he opens his mouth. STOP ADDING YOUR VOCALS TO YOUR TRACKS - THEY SUCK. |

| What is this... every time a producer makes something that you don't like means they've reached their downfall? Please elaborate. |

just becuz he doesn't produce trance anymore means he sucks? sure, he has gone more mainstream, but if you take the time to know how much is put into his productions, u'll realize that BT is one of the few producers who really knows his .
I, for one, am not about to knock on a guy who actually produces all his stuff by himself, as opposed to soooo many trance producers these days who need an engineer to find their way around a studio.
but as always, to each their own. I don't like all of BT's music, but as a musician/producer, he's got my respect. |

Just because you dislike his new style DOES NOT make his music bad. Why don't you attempt to produce some music yourself.. and everytime you do something that people don't like... they will dog you for it. I still happen to find BT's music to be enjoyable.. so its just a matter of opinions here. Just 'cause one changes their style does not mean they've reached a "downfall," per se. Rather, they want to expand their musical horizons as musicians. That's how I see it.. :P |

i agree with you, he still is an excellent producer. he's got his own style and he could be very diverse also. but he could also be very good with making pop music! that's all im saying. lately his tracks have been weak, the only reason love comes again is so popular because there is a tiesto in front of the title. |

| Yes, BT has gone south and I believe he is near a downfall if he has not hit it yet. BT was always a mouthy producer worthy of some brilliant moments, his IMA album showed he could do it. I believe BT went south when he agreed to produce the n'sync album, nothing is wrong with producing mainstream acts, it made people like adamski, a pile of money but then BT makes emotional technology which was an unemotionaless bore then sings on an collab with Tiesto. BT has gone in the exact same direction as PvD, they are both talented producers who have produced some of the great moments in electronic music but they are trying to go too mainstream and both have lost the emotion of their music. BT was great with godspeed and others because they were emotional tracks, I don't know about others but I got that sense of emotion when I heard the tracks. BT has lost that, same with a lot of A list producers, Mike, L-Vee. Most of these people are caught up making stuff for others and making $$$$$ (nothing wrong with $$$$ but I think it becomes wrong when your music suffers). L-Vee, Mike, PvD, Armin, BT all were better when they made emotional music and you could sense that but now all rather just go mainstream and lose that emotion. |
