Also I gotta say that some Nas tracks make me go bananas!!! A few of his songs have really good lyrics and true life situations, all in rhyme, very good.

I don't want to waste my time in another one of these threads. Just wanted to say that you don't know about The Neptunes.

i like hip hop a lot. actually, before i got into trance and electronica, i respected djs as artists, as hip hop djs are: q bert, invisble scratch piklez, xectuioners, etc...

so when i first got into electronica, i couldnt believe that the djs didnt do anything except drop the needle on records and turn some eq knobs, and these guys were celebrities?!

The Neptunes might be pop but in terms of production quality they are BRILLIANT and far and above most edm producers. Always have been and always will be. If you want to hear the Neptunes in all of their glory check this out: Daft Punk- Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger (Neptunes Remix).

Hey, TiT, you don't know what you're talking about and obviously first heard about the Neptunes last year. :stongue:

Their productions are very well elaborated and sophisticated, and they are extremely effective in the dancefloor. Anyone that likes electro likes the Neptunes because they follow new wave aesthetics.

*Plays Tiga remix of Hot in Herre*

well me for one....I can't stand ing hop....too poorly made and un-educated......lyrics are gash....bitches/money/violence......it all seems a little bit pathetic to me, im not speaking about all hip hop, the more underground forms are respectable but as far as top 40 goes it is mindless crap, yep...:o

Dude don't front. "What Happened to that Boy" by Baby ft. Clipse is in BANANAS! That beat is insane! The Neptunes have fallen off but are not wack by any means.

TI - Trap Muzik is a good album.

Most underground hip-hop is not that good. I'd much rather listen to Luda or someone with flow who can write a song rather than listen to El-P rap about computers.
