bah, I still like Henry Fords idea of everyone gets the same car, in the same color.

2 seaters with tvs in the head-rest rule. |

its recockulous
i think its more due to the fuel reserves being used up. we are fighting two wars right now, which puts a severe drain on oil. also not to mention we have countires like China industrializing very quickly. which has lots of people who will all continue to use more and more fuel.
the high prices are here to stay. and America is in no place to bitch and moan, since it still has some of the lowest prices in western nations.
peeps need to stop driving their stupid hummers and so forth. but whatever, they are wasting their money.
new fuel sources need to start to be used. but ehh won't happen till companies have a huge incentive to switch over. |

The thing I hate the most about cars and drivers is when a huge thing for five is used to transport just one person. Such a waste...
Hopefully this is going to be made illegal and everyone will drive a Smart.

yeah i agree with malek about not drilling in Alaska. it doesn't have a very large reserve of oil there, drilling it would just destroy the enviroment for no reason. |

| I haven't followed up on this, but what's going on with the electric powered cars. If those are distributed soon, we wouldn't be in the messes we are now IMO. And that oil in Alaska , I agree that ing up the enviorment so people with SUV's don't have to pay so much to fill up their gigantor tanks is [micheal jackson voice]ignorant, that's ignorant[/miceal jackson voice]. The most disturbing thing is watching those ing people, mostly women (not sexist, just telling my observations) who use something like a Ford Expadition to get to the grocery stores. I am all for laws on regulating large vehicals and how many can be bought. Don't know if this is credible or not, but I always say that this never happened when Clinton was President. |

Hah, I wouldn't be caught dead in that little POS. I drive this old wreck around, minus the woody panels on the side. I've got a couple other cars, but this is the one I use every day. I used to have another wagon with the woodies, but no more. A rusted hulk on four wheels. But I drive a 3.2G Pentium state of the art computer at the house. Matter of priorities, I reckon...

| just today in my geology course my professor told us that oil demands double every 7 years taking into account an average 10% increase per year of oil consumption. that leaves us with very little time to develop a new widely accepted alternative, most likely too little. im thinking that were gonna have some serious energy problems in the next 20 to 35 years. |
