| I am a real DJ the thing is, my tables are inexistent. I had them back in victoria, but now I'm back at my parents over the summer and have no tables here, so traktor is the best i can do.... unless you want to sponsor me with $1500 canadian, then I could get myself some descent tables. I've made a couple with traktor and i think they rock, just have to perfect a great trance one..... |

you'll be amazed to find out some PCDJs are actually able to put up very good sets that might even sound better than many vinyl djs. |

| Last year this question came up, about using software to mix the set. And the response is going to be the same. You can use software to mix the sets, but ulitmately the person who chooses the winner is Markus Schulz who knows what he is listening for. He said that he can definetly tell the difference between software vs a real DJ. |

HHHHMMMMMMMMM, interesting. The man must have quite an ear. But nonetheless, I've never entered into a comp before, it sucks that it can only be 55 minutes though. I guess they need to fit it into a time slot. |

| If we have an existing 75min mix... could we cut it down to 60min?? or does it have to be exactly 55min... and not eidted to fit that time span? |

55 mins
the sets we air are 55 mins, and the 5 mins are usually commercials. So in order for your set to not get cut off in the middle of a song if you win, we are asking all sets to be 55 mins in length. |
