Hi John,
I read your new post on the tranceaddict forums and it's really unfortunate that some us are having these type of problems. It's really aggravating to know that our CDs have not been received by the global dj broadcast despite our effort to send them in a timely fashion.
I sent an email yesterday to the globaldjbroadcast about the problem, but they haven't responded yet.
I also left a post on the official globaldjbroadcast forum and someone said to me that maybe the CDs weren't delivered because the "waiver of signature" box on the package slip was left unchecked (which is a really good point). However, I did in fact check that box. As to why the delivery guy didn't release the package in spite of these explicit instructions is anyone's guess.
Now considering the fact that the the CDs arrived at post office BEFORE the deadline, and will be held there for five days after the second delivery attempt until someone picks them up should hopefully mean that we still have a chance to have our CDs in the global dj broadcast offices.
And even if our CDs are held for five days until someone picks them up, the fact is that they arrived there BEFORE August 2nd, so technically speaking, they arrived at their designated destination just in time for the deadline.
Sincerely,
Josef Lefranc

I sent in my CD regular mail. I didn’t get it returned so I just hope it made it there. If not there’s always next year.
Hope everything works out for you guys who are having problems sending in their mixes. |

sent mine via normal mail.
why all of u made it so hard by sending it via FedX or UPS?
it was obvious that u need to send it via normal mail. I doubt anyone from the station will go to all the delivery companies and pick up all the CDs.
sory for anyone that didn`t make it, I~m realy looking forward to hear the 10 finalists. |

| as long as what you sent was postmarked before August 2nd you're cool. it doesn't matter when it arrives (well, i'm sure anything over a few days late would be disqualified) cuz they're only looking to see the postmarked date. as long as you sent it prior to august 2nd you'll be fine. chill out, be cool like the Kool-Aid guy. |

I feel the stress in the air. Contestants quit biting your nails. All your pain will go away very soon.
2 days away for the top 10.
It’s on like Donkey Kong! |
