I've got a question...
I want buy a mp3 player. but i don't know which one.
you've got many mp3 players, like the
lennox mp3 discman
philips Expanium mp3 discman
Nomad Jukebox harddisk 6 GB
JazPiper MVR64P 64 mb memory
Sony NW-E3 64 mb memory
and many more..
I prefer a mp3 discman, since I've got some cd's full with mp3'zz.
Any comments, on what is "the better" mp3-player. Because I don't kown which one to buy.

the only mp3 discman i know, is the Philips thingie thingie 101, which is a very good one...
i advise u to take a discman was well, cuz a normal mp3 player has way to little memory & u have to delete everything all the time... mp3 discmans support normal cds 2 most of the time...

you can also buy a minidisc(or disK?)player
i have heard a minidiskplayer is cheaper than a mp3-player
(that's what i've heard)
you can just load your mp3's on the minidisks
(thru your player connected with you pc)

I got the philips Expanium, Its an awesome MP3/CD Discman, It will play mp3s from 32k all the way to 320k, It will even play MP3s encoded with VBR as well, It can play about 10 hours of music and only uses 2 AA batteries since playing MP3s doesnt eat much of the battery life. :)

Does anyone have experience from Creavite Nomad Jukebox. It is a mp3 player with a 6G HD. I was reading a HI-FI mag today (can't remember name) and there was an article about it. Interetsting machine. http://www.nomadworld.com/

I got a Rio 500 w/ 64MB and that's about enough memory for 10-11 trance MP3s. A good mini-disc player is around about as expensive as an MP3 player so I'd go for the MP3 player. Sure erasing it might seem like a bother but it really isn't cause it erases it fast. Another advantage of an MP3 player is that u don't have to burn CDs like mini-disc. I can transfer all about 10 MP3s to my player in about 5-8 min. I've also heard good and bad about the CD/MP3 players. To keep the player from loosing it's place on the CD u have to put so many MP3s in different folders, also there is no way to put in a track number so if u're looking for say track 100 you have to sit there and press the button until u get to 100....can u say "annoying"?

Well, I dont like that jukebox thing from creative labs, You would have to connect it to your pc to transfer all your mp3s to it, which is why I prefer the Philips Expanium, You just burn all your mp3s on a CDR or CDRW and it will play them, Besides, I have tons of MP3 CDs. :)

the best all round mp3 player you can buy is the rio 500... quick as hell downloading to the player, and it comes with the newest version of musicmatch jb which is cool... dont be fooled by the newer rio 600, its not as good...

Still I dont think people want to waste there time pluging it to there PC, If were you, Stay with the MP3/CD Discman, burning CDs is easy, Besides, Having a bunch of CDs with mp3s is helpful since you can put the ones with your favorite mp3s since those other mp3 players can only hold certain amount of mp3s files. :)

I don't understand this "problem" u people keep bringing up about plugging the player into your PC. All u have to do is plug the USB cable into the back ONCE and that's all. If it's such a problem to plug the cord into the player (take about .2 sec) then u are some lazy people lol.
