From what I see, she's obviously trying to screw you over. That would just piss me off even more and make me want to get my stuff back even more. I don't advocate the "stealing your stuff back route," although I do like the "humiliate her" route. Maybe showing up with some cops at her place when she's got company or something.

Show the cops those emails, she's admitted to being in possession of the items you mentioned. Furthermore, she's also admitted that they were once yours, and she acknowledges the fact that you never gave them to her. I'd say that amounts to stealing, and I'd like to think the cops would agree. Additionally, the cops would also see that you're being civil with her, at least so far, and she's being a bitch. Most cops being males, they'll probably want to help you out, as they've probably met their share of bitches before. |
