| I been watching since last year.I have to say its one the best Animes out there. Its has elements of DragoN Ball Z and others. But yeah episode 84 is coming out today, I give a review when I foinish watching it. :crazy: |

Sadly, I have to say that I've lost interest in it. I'm watching "One Piece" at the same time as "Naruto" and I've got to say that One Piece is sooo much better than Naruto.
Naruto = Ninjas
One Piece = Pirates |

Really damn that sucks,I still love it.Well there always can't be fighting its cool to see that everyone has life in them and just not slash ,slash and more slash. ;)

ahh the naruto fans! that's what anime is all about ;)
ughhh.. besides as one of my all time fav's of anime
anyone else agree with me that naruto is sooo slow, like episode 84 was good and stuff but damn when it comes to the scenes in the past, it takes up 3/4 of the damn episode, then when it finally gets good (intro to jiraiya) it's over! this happened frequently in the gaara saga with his damn flashbacks.. even though majority of television is slow and pushed back.. i'm just too anxious to see what's gonna happen next.. so yeah..that's my 2cents
other then my whiney complaints, yes i love naruto, i can't wait till naruto learns the new jutsu "rasengan" i believe, another jutsu as the form of chidori except much stronger.. ahh the wonders and surprises naruto brings is endless.. go go naruto!
and damn itachi is one tuff sucker, i can't wait till he fights all out so we can really see his true strength :) |

| Yeah Sasukes brother is very strong.Yeah I know its slow which is kinda of a turnoff,the Sasuke flash back was needed ,since you really got to see what happen.But why did he kill everyone :conf: :conf: :conf: |

Naruto is the most popular by leaps. One piece has its merits but doesn't have multi- character development like Naruto. there are 4 times more characters to enjoy and to be curious about. One pience doesn't have creative expansive devices like magick, elements and the chakra system
now, the plot is slow to evolve and keeps regurgitating in the episodes. this is a cultural preference vs gung ho, superficial movies of hollywood. you want depth you need to tolerate long-drawn out plots. Almost all asian series flicks are like that
Naruto and other anime-converted manga embeds cultural spirituality relative to real life (karma, past lives, magick, souls, hybrids) which Disney lacks, immensely. its genre is kiddy and simple-minded. the current crop I am watching has a variety of deep philosophical and mystical concepts never found in american mainstream. unless you study its subjects, most concepts will not be fully recognized.
thank goodness for anime and manga cuz american's cinema and animation are boring once I keep seeing the same superficial theme over and over again to a fault. I don't even watch movies anymore.
at least though, both West and East share the same or similar archetype:Shonen. |

| I've downloaded and watched episodes 1-60 so now I'm left hanging in the middle of the fight between Naruto and Neji until I can get more. Great friggin series. |
