the districk set was technically sound, but with A LOT fewer highlights. He went on a string of 15 KILLER KILLER TUNES that just kicked everyones ass. None more then the one that blew me and ken away. That tune kicked everyones ass HARD!

Overall, this one was better!

God damn! MP dropped it heavy... but i enjoyed his set a lot around 3:00-3:45, and around 5ish. Im kicking myself for missing Pulsar 2002 as his last tune played :eyes: - that would've made my night. The two DJs who played before him (Evil P & Loco Dice) were great openers to MP!

Max Graham was good but I was in KH mostly during his performance. I caught some of Way out West, and heard the last 10 minutes of thier live portion... also heard the beginning few minutes and last hour of thier DJ set. Very good tunes.. I really like prog when it gets funky & dynamic.

I didnt catch too much of Hybrid, unfortunately. They had me going but I decided to leave around 6ish.

Props to my friends who I went and ALL TAs I metup with through the night.

Where was everyone? I was hoping on seeing someone, but never found a single TA. I was wearing a buffalo top (white with maroon on the side sleeves) and a dark cream "The Clash" t-shirt underneath, also I was wearing brown cargos, anyone see me?

Locodice and Mauro destroyed Toronto last nite... you guys said it all, Guv was pretty slow and chilled out (in terms of beats), while KoolHaus was like gates of hell.

Btw, Mauro's place isn't in a DJ booth... rather in a mental institution.

Way Out West was very downtempo for sure, I don't really think it fit the atmosphere. They did get harder during their DJ set but it felt like something was missing.

And yeah, the Guv was empty! That's probably the least amount of people I've seen in the place before like 5am!

Mauro was okay, this is the 3rd time I've seen him since he came in November of last year! :toothless

In any case, it was good seeing some of the TAs, it's been a crazy weekend!

I wish I could have heard this crazy track that Mauro dropped!

(I wouldnt have made it til 5:45 though, thats for sure.)

I'm super curious though!!!

Was the Guv just slow for the entire night, or did it clear out when way out west was playing?

I remember this one time I was at a Spundae party. Jerry Bonham started off the night to warm the crowd up and by the end of his set the main room was packed and going strong. Then A Guy Called Gerald came on to do a live PA set that was really downtempo and then the entire main room emptied within 10 minutes (there was literally 20 people remaining). Then after he finished, Jerry jumped back on to do the second part of his set, and by 5 minutes, the entire main room was packed again.... I found it quite strange what a little downtempo can do to the crowd when its still early in the night.

infinity HiGH
Guv was actually getting more and more packed as WOW's DJ set went on. It was empty during the Live PA (Hell, even I wanted to leave)...but once they stopped putting everyone to sleep, they really banged it out.

Good party; not the best in the world, but good.

And Loco Dice stole the show for me.

i was in guv for most of the night. probably right up front next to the stage and the guy carrying the giant union jack. was wearing a blue shirt with headphoned printed on them. but to my knowledge there were TA's spread out all over the place.. i was in my own zone :D

I saw WOW a couple of months ago and I can't say I was into them either. Nice music to listen to, not to party and get twisted too. I need to hear some more tougher/chunkier sounds when i'm out.

Coincidentally enough I saw Locodice that same night (he opened for WOW, Timo closed the night) and he RIPPED IT! Hopefully someone will bring him back (with Timo) and let them play together all night. I'd like to hear Locodice throw down a primetime set.
