| I never danced ONCE in my life, not even at highschool dances....UNTIL i had my first club experience 3 years ago. The Launch was the track, and xtc was the drug. The rest is history. |

| I took alot of different styles and mixed and matched to make different moves for different sounds, I like to match all my moves to the beat and style of music, but I am beyond rusty when it comes down to busting a move. Look towards what kind of styles you like, and practice practice practice, eventually you will find your groove or niche, from there you can only get better and creative in your own flesh. |

...and you're a good dancer.
I never danced until I tried E. Then I realized I don't need that stuff to dance at all, not even alcohol...it just helped break down the mental barrier.
Trance is not the easiest music to dance to either. Techno and House tend to focus more on the "groove" and can be easier to dance to. Jst my opinion:) |

Yeah.. House is definitely good like that. (I personally can 'feel' house better than I can feel trance)
Mckinley, If you wanna see some great dancing, definitely watch some good Breakbeat dancers... They're fast and got some wicked moves.
(yes.. that would be in the back room @ System Soundbar in Toronto :) ) |

ive never tried or E nor will i. i dont see the point wen i can still go for 5-6 hours dancing and not feel tired. trance never makes me tired:D
and people say that it brings u to a whole new level of the music..i think i feel trance enuf already:D
i drink alcohol tho cuz it makes me more concentrated on JUST the music so i tend to dance better to it and feel the trance energy more if u kno wut i mean
btw, who here uses E? |

Thats a nice choice on your part. You were lucky enough to get into the scene without the assistance of drugs. Me on the other hand, was brought into the scene because i wanted to try xtc from hearing all the hype about it from my friends. At that time i was one of those guys that called ANY electronic music "gino beats" and pretty much hated everything but hiphop and some alternative. If i didnt have a reason to step foot in a club like i did the first night i popped, i dont think id be posting on trancEaddict right now, and i never would have met the amazing people on this board. You dont NEED xtc to party, its a choice and one that does suffer concequences if youre not smart about it. |

Moi! I was doing drugs way before listening to Trance and House, I guess I found the nightclubbin atmosphere a perfect fit for my saturday nights and sunday mornings rituals beforehand. Dancing was something I just enjoyed alot and did to pay homage to the great music that was there. Gotta add something to the atmosphere, otherwise your not partying.
I get too tired in the long run without it...but thats cause I need to build more stamina. For me, its that I get way too much pain in my feet and legs after a few hours of dancing, and just become way too fatigued to continue on. I should jog more. :P |

Maybe the smoke-free clubs will help you out with your stamina :happy2: |
