Anything by Haruki Murakami - particularly The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle
Emil
My favorite authors are Michael Connelly, Clive Cussler and Robert Crais. Having said that, ever 3 weeks I read 2 new books that I check out from the library by various authors. Recently I finished The Narrows by Connelly. Painted House by Grisham is great also, what didn't you like about the ending?
Porky
The World According to Garp - John Irving

science fiction!!!

Arthur C Clarke - Rendezvous with Rama <- absolutely amazing
(much better than 2001 a space odyssey)

I am reading Rendevous with rama 2 now, and the funny thing is, they are making a movie out of it!! It'll be released in 2006!
Can't wait, it will be an amazing film.

My view of life was completely changed when I read "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. It will blow your mind.

yea, that's my 2 cents

Just read "The da Vinci Code: Fact or Fiction" critique...and all I have to say is making Dan Brown look like a complete retard is Brilliant...and no...I don't fully agree/understand all the 'Good Book' has to offer.

It just goes to show that if you don't do your research properly, then what you write as fiction should remain fiction and be published as such.
MarathonMan
Irvine Welsh writes amazing books! Begbie and Juice Terry are the most amazing characters ever written!

For the past couple of months I've been reading Tom Clancy's books, I'm currently halfway through Rainbow Six and I'm enjoying it very much!

For my sci-fi fix I like to read Iain M Bank books as well. :)
