what can you tell me about alterered states of consciousness through LSD & mushrooms? (pg. 5)

acid = head
its not just hallucinogetic but it makes everything you see to not be a hallucination... it IS real, and is very hard to convince yourself otherwise. if you are going to do acid, make sure you do it with a trip sitter who can be your link to reality, and dont forget to tell them these simple and straight forward rules to follow whilst being a trip sitter:
1: DONT WITH SOMEONES HEAD WHILE THEY'RE ON ACID, BE 100% HONEST
2: DONT WITH SOMEONES HEAD WHILE THEY'RE ON ACID, BE 100% HONEST
if you try and with someone's head while they're on acid eg:
-man wtf is that toilet doing?
-i dunno man but it looks scary!
***WRONG*** you will scare the out of them, because the toilet WILL BE ING SCARY
-man wtf is that toilet doing?
-nothing, man - its just sitting there.
***CORRECT***
as i said - if you're gonna have acid - make sure you have someone who knows the rules who can give you a link to reality
running around thinking that goblins are after you for 12 hours is bad. |

| What is considered a good dose? 3 grams (1/10 oz)? I've heard that small amounts cause a bit of hallucination, while large doses lead to a profound, mystical experience. I know potency varies from shroom to shroom, but what's a good starting dose? |

It really depends on if the shrooms are dried or not. A friend of mine took 2 grams of dried shrooms, and was trippin pretty well. Then he smoked a bowl of dro, and had a religious experience.
A "good" dosage is 2-5 grams, depending on how heavy you want your trip to be. |

I tried my first shrooms the other day with my best mate, about 2.5 dried grams each.
We started at a mates house who was just smoking weed, but as soon as it started to hit us we felt we just couldn't be indoors so we left him and went for a walk to a nearby park. For the first half an hour of so we just laughed, we were just so happy. We just looked at the trees, clouds, moon and everything and just appreciated it in a new light. We talked heaps about society and people, and that dropped the trip a little bit as the vibe we got from all the surrounding houses was so uncaring and distant. In the end we just ended up lying on the grass looking up at the moon, letting the feelings rush over us. At one point I swear I could feel the earth moving with me in one direction, with the clouds in another and the moon in another still. Absolutley amazing.
All in all a great night, definetly leaving us with a few revelations and much healthier personal attitudes, but probably a darker view towards society as a whole. |

ok, i'll admit, i was that friend hehheheh.
here's a poem i wrote about it.
My body, it is sitting here
Atop soft tangles of carpet.
I breathe through insulated air.
I live within these walls and floors.
My senses are soaking with this
Strange experience I am in.
I am so very high, watching
My normal pulse of thought go by.
I watch the system take its course.

Transcending planes of consciousness.
All forms of ego shred away.

It opens up, infinity,

This great feeling beyond feelings.

You might not wanna do it that way. The most intense part won't hit for several hours, so you might overdo it before it ever even really comes on. By the time it's in full swing it'll probably be hard to make a good judgement, too... |

| Has anyone tried 2cB? Never done it myself but several of my friends did it a couple of years ago and relly enyoyed it, except from the comedown which was horrible. |

You can definately enter altered states of consciousness with A. This was fun -> Go to Magic Kingdom in Orlando. Ingest 10 hits of quality liquid A along with 2 MDA pills. Then start riding the rides, especially in that Tomorrowland part of the park. I ended up so off my face that I lost distinction between reality and fantasy. I dunno if its still there, but they had a ride then where you were getting teleported somewhere but something goes wrong and a space alien gets teleported in and is trying to get you. By this point I could no longer mentally understand that I was on a ride at Disney so things got a bit interesting.
The only way I could think of to describe it was that I was gone to the point where I felt as though my old life never existed and what I was currently experiencing was reality. Oh and add in massive visual distortions and full blown visual hallucinations just to keep things interesting.
As time went on and some of my mental abilities returned I had several hours of my brain arguing its reality vs. the LSD reality, causing me to question the entire existance of the world. The mind aspects of this type of thought caused much anxiety. If I had any Xanax with me that day I probably would have ate a pile of it.
I can only imagine what my friends and I must have looked like to the other people at the park that day. |
