| Honestly I don't know really either. Except that UT Austin is kind of a different party crowd all together. Quite a mix of people in that deal. Supposedly Boulder is just all wild binge drinking kids. I think it's more of a reputation than anything else, saw it on 20/20 back in the day.... |

| I remember back in the day when 2 new sexually transmitted diseases were discovered at Southwest Texas State University. That was 2 years before my friends frat burned their house down. In either case, MOST campuses are party places. I think Baylor may have some lame nights. A&M is big time partying if you can deal with the country music (I can't). |

Sorry mate but I've got to disagree with you. Don't get me wrong, Gielen is a fantastic producer, having had a part in many of my all time favorites. As a DJ, I think he totally blows. Track selection is debatable of course, and as always it's a matter of taste, but he's a very average DJ otherwise. Anyone that has seen the 2003 Trance Energy 10th edition DVD can confirm this, as he does his little cheesey scratching routine etc. A little off topic - cheesiest smile evvarrr! :p |

Yea, I had a blast at A&M... All 7 years I was there :). Honestly I never really got off to the country music either, but near the end of my "stay" they had several bars which played techno and regular non-country music.
The Tap is one of my all time favorite bars and you don't hear much country played there unless it is a concert. And there's plenty of eye-candy between the girls that come in and the bartenders behind the bar (think Mary Beth from the Road Rules + Playboy). |
