you Detroit, for ruining basketball forever...
Who wants to watch a game based entirely on defence? Low scoring, loads of fouls and freethrows YAY! 48 minutes of playing time turns into over 3 hours with all timeouts and freethrows and dicking around they do...
Now everyone is going to look at Detriot's success and realise that a team full of scorers (Mavs, Kings etc) has no hope of winning a championship and we are going to see alot of boring my zone defence is better than your zone defence games in the future. |

| i really doubt detroit could repeat...they wooped the lakers but thats cause the lakers sucked..san antonio,minesota or dallas would beat detroit i think...not a chance for a repeat. enjoy this one. |

I don't think any of those teams would beat the Pistons. I don't think any team in the NBA can currently beat the Pistons. If their relentless 'A' game 0\/\/|\|3I) the Lakers, while the Lakers have owned all 3 before, then they don't even have a chance versus the Pistons. They have too much depth, and strategies that Zen Master Larry exploits to make every team make adjustments, but worse ones. When the Laker's triangle offense was screwed, what other offense did they have? All they had was Kobe getting stripped while Shaq was rarely dunking on Ben and he wasn't even making his free throws. |
