france surprisingly seemed not to have any good solutions at the front but in two minutes all that changes thanks to zidane who played like during the rest of the game, and to the dude that made the stupid pass, gerrard?
england seemed a very solid team but far from perfect, anyway they should beat switzerland and croatia easily, but i don't think they'll go all the way |

What a game indeed! I too feel sorry for the English. They played really well, but stopped attacking and had to pay for it. Ledley King impressed me the most. So young, but played really mature.
I think it was strange of Sven to take out Rooney, Owen and Scholes and especially putting Heskey on the field. Sure he works hard, but he shouldn't even have made the squad imo.
Scholes played a very good game. His passing is really good and he runs like a horse eventhough he's pretty careless at times.
ZIdane did a crap game, but I guess he made up for it in the last two minutes.
If I were French and in Portugal right now I would celebrate quietly in my hotelroom with the minibar. I wouldn't want to meet any English hooligans tonight. |

A very poor game this, neither side will do well in this tournament if they continue to play like that. England defended well but the French attack wasnt up to much.
Zidanes goals were good though, but I think Gerrard and Heskey should be credited with the assists :stongue: |

bull, the speed of the game was insanely high when you compare it with Croatia x Switzerland. They will both go to the quarter-finals at least |
