It's expensive. It tastes bad, unless it's some even more expensive cider. You need to consume vast amounts to get wasted, at which point you puke and embarass yourself by passing out in a random toilet. It gives you a hangover, and makes your breath smell bad.
Even drugs make more sense, at least they make you higher than alcohol, or broaden your perspectives. |

| I'm of the same opinion as you, man. Alcohol is a waste of your time, money, and health. I've yet to drink any that tastes good. I think it's mostly the social aspect that keeps people coming back for more. (Which is hilarious, because drunk people are retards who are seldom capable of socializing with anyone other than themselves and other people who are drunk at the same time.) |

| To each his/her own. Personally, I love the taste of beer, and even some other alcoholic drinks. And maybe I'm special, but I don't need to consume an overt amount of alcohol to get drunk, especially if it's spirits. Based on its properties, I wouldn't really call it expensive either. I wouldn't really call alcohol expensive either. It makes sense that it would be more expensive than other drinks, because it does more for you (i.e. get you drunk). :/ |

You guys must have crap beer then, KEEP AWAY FROM THE BUDWIESER, I drink, I like it, I do have a good time when drunk, it may cost abit but oh well, it tastes good, I rarely puke, I hardly pass out till VERY VERY late into the night, and for some reason I wake up feeling fine the next day, even after like 12 beers and a bottle of vodka with only 2 hours sleep, dunno how that happens but its alll good.
To each there own though, some people love beer, some people hate beer, some people love crack, some people hate crack, its all just personal preference. |

| Probably because alcohol is an accepted drug in society, whereas other drugs are not. I am sure that some drugs are probably less harmful than alcohol and tobacco, but because society doesn't accept them, we think of them as bad. |
