why the guverment in toronto canada is scum

well id like to say first that the reason i took so long after the fact of writting this is because i emailed the guverment and waited for them to respond... to which they didnt so i think its fair play now...
but yes i traveled 35 hours on the grey hound from winnipeg canada to toronto to see tiesto on june 10... first of all i have to say that tiesto was amazing... the toronto crowd was amazing... the whole night except for the security was amazing...
but at around 4 am i was in the bathroom in the stall going to the bathroom like every 1 else in the bathroom was... as i was trying to leave a security guard forced his way into the stall and came in asking what i was doing...
he made me chek my pockets and i pulled out a pill... yes i did have a pill on me... and so he said that i have to give him something so that he doesnt call the cops on me...
he told me to open my wallet and then made me give him $70 so that he didnt call the cops on me... i pleaded with him telling him i just came from winnipeg and that that was my hotel money (which it honestly was) but he just laughed and told me tough...
now im not so innocent... but i honestly think that he was just outright scum... and frankly i have no intentions on ever going back to toronto again...
dont get me wrong... toronto is a amazing place... its just that considering how much i had to pay... it wasnt worth it...
so i ended up having to go home a few days early because i couldnt afford to stay...
so if your from out of town and planning on going to the guverment... make sure you bring alot of money with you...

i came all the way from winnipeg at the to come see tiesto there on june 10th... and dont get me wrong, the party itself was amazing... but i wont be making any trips back to toronto anytime soon, nor to the guverment espesially because i was rudly treated by the security...
now i wont lie to you, yes i did have a pill on me so im not innocent myself, but the security exploited me and threatened to call the cops on me because of this if i didnt pay him money to keep him quiet...
i was in the bath room using the stall and as i was leaving this security guard forced me back in and locked himself in there with me and was being extreamly aggressive to me... i pleaded with him that i came from winnipeg and that the money he was taking was my hotel money, but he didnt care... yes having that pill may of been illegal but to take some 1s hotel money is just wrong...
i ended up having to give him $70 to get him to not call the cops on me... and then had to end up catching the bus back to winnipeg the next day because i couldnt afford to stay... and was forced to miss my other plans that i had made...
now im not trying to tell you what to do... but considering how popular you estabishment is i highly recommend you get more friendly staff working the security...

Uhhh, but at the same time, I'd rather lose that $70 than go to jail.
If you wouldn't have been busted, he would have not been able to do anything to you.
He might have been a jerk, but the turnout could have been much worse. |

| i honestly couldnt see any cop arresting me for having 1 pill when theres ppl there with soooooo many more... the only reason i gave him the money was because i feared for my personal saftey... i dont think he would of let me out of there other wise |

You prob would have gotten in more trouble if you had been busted, right? So why bitch about $70. I mean you were pseudo-harassed but you weren't arrested. Hopefully you learned a valueable lesson. |

first of all, i've never been to guvernment, but heard tons bout it...mostly good things and some bad...what happened to you happens all the time...i couldn't even tell you how many times i was in the wrong place at the wrong time but i'll tell you this, those bouncers will only walk all over you if you let them...if they know your scared, they will walk all over you all day long...therefore, even if you are scared, you have to play it cool...if they find the pill, you give it to them and say i don't deal, i don't steal, im just trying to have a good time...9/10 times they would confiscate the pill and let you go...if they really wanted to get some money off me, they would start to make false allegations and question me on hypothetical thinking, rather than rational thinking, which would tip me off that they didn't have any shiet on me and were looking for handouts...if thats the final alternative, pull out a 20 next time and tell them your sorry for the trouble...if they are still threatening to call cops and whatnot, tell them to go ahead, because even they know the cops would be upset if they were called to handle a situation where the assailant is carrying 1-2 pills...pffff...cops would be real upset if that was the scenario..and bouncers know all this - so next time, be prepared and know what the situation really is before handing over all your cash cuz the government can;t get that shiet back for you anyways...its his word versus yours...and btw, when you write a letter to any government, you need to address who your speaking to, where the letter is originating from, and contact info, i.e. phone number, home address, etc...and most importantly, it has to be written properly...no three period dots and lower case letters starting a sentence, run on sentences, etc...i do it cuz we're on a forum that has no set prerequisites, but a formal letter to the government has its own requirements...best of luck to yah on your next clubbing adventure...just remember your rights and read the situation accurately to ensure that a more proper/sensible response can be made...
btw, several times that i've been pulled aside, searched, dragged outside the club, dragged into the stairwells and questioned - each time i was rollin mah ass off and i still managed...gluck in the future tho...and also, its not toronto's fault necessarily...if anyone was at fault here, it would be the management of the club but that don't mean that they give a damn either..haha...gluck anyhow... |

"The Guvernment" is the name of the club. He's not actually writing to the Canadian government. |
