after i left the stall i went to go back to the crowd and over heard a few others saying the same thing... 1 guy even said that thats how they make most of there money...
like i said before... ya i had a fun time... but id rather travel the few extra hours to montreal to see tiesto from now on... the guverment has ruined toronto for me... |
u could have thrown the toilet down the toilet and flush it. then he has nothing on you..and if he does anything to you then you can sue the ass out of the club. |

That is easy to say now. Maybe not so easy to do when you are minding your own business finishing up your piss and a bouncer shoves you back into a stall and starts frisking you. Especially when you are high and not thinking clearly. |

| This is how scum makes their money, it's just bad luck that he spotted you at that moment. There's always that risk of being taken advantage of. If you think about it, to the bouncers, clubbers are nothing more than a bunch of tripping teens. It's easy for scum to feed off of them. You could've been stopped and searched on a random street at a bad place at a bad time, this always happens, it's how scum of human society makes money. |

well here in winnipeg we dont have any problems like that... i never would of thought of any of this considering i never encountered a problem as such before... or even knew of any 1 else that went through it...
and yes i guess taking it before hand would of been a idea... and i did... but who goes to a party with just one... i had 3 or 4 all together and didnt wanna take them all at once... you gotta plan out your party... as your coming down off the first 2 you take another 1 so that it hits in harder... its all about timing hehe... |

While that might be good advise, its obvious the poster does do drugs so some information on how to do it safely would be more valuable. |

okay, it is apparently and abunduntly clear that bouncers at any club, especially guvernment, can be very corrupt...therefore what have we learned so far:
general consensus says:
"leave your money at the hotel or bank and bring a atm card when going to a club"
"leave all drugs in your car or hotel, just don't bring it in with you when going to the club"
"one pill shouldn't warrant fear of arrest, as your in a club with hundreds of others fuk'd up out of their mind, and you have one freakin pill"
"try not to be in suspicious areas or dealings that would lead to a bouncer singling you out and searching you"
anyone add to this list at your convenience...i'm sure i'm missing something that may be important, but this is all i gathered as of now... |

sorry to hear about what happened. BUT you should be glad that nothing else happened! To email the club and tell them yea I had drugs on me but....thats kinda ridiclous.Learn your lesson and dont do it again.
All I can say is stop using drugs dude! If you cant get naturally high listening to the music than the music or dj must suck. I just get pretty upset hearing or seeing kids go to clubs and doing drugs. this drug culture ,especially in america, really has not helped EDM progress beyond the club and has hurt the artists, the dj's , the clubs, and above all EDM.
Like Paul Van Dyk Said " The downturn in dance music in 1999 and 2000 was obvious by the fact that all the clubers and magizines were interested in the new drugs or the coolest club and not the music. When the focus is not on the music it ( the music) ultimetly suffers."
One last thing, if Tiesto, PVD, Armin, etc are advocates of not doing drugs for the sake of the music, their careers, and your health than as a fan why would you do otherwise!?
DO what you want to do but realize their are concequences to every action , the whole drug thing that ahppen at the club abiviously cost you a good coin but relaize that its is also ruining your health and mind .
As a tranceaddict who cares layoff the pills |

| It's kind of hard to get people to stop using drugs(at clubs or raves), especially considering how the "scene" is so intertwined with it. Christopher Lawrence himself said that our "scene" grew so much because of Ecstacy. Whether or not this is true, Ecstacy isn't going away IMO. The only suggestion I can offer then, is to use E moderately. Enjoy the music for what it is, rather than letting the drug do it for you. |
