That really sucks! Girls like that give other girls a bad name. There are better ways of breaking up with someone then totally attacking who they are!:whip:

well said, jessicah. i TOTALLY agree. 
the guy i am seeing now is basically the first relationship i've started with NO online contact whatsoever. he doesn't use messaging programs, and i don't even know his e-mail address. the only time we talk is on the phone or in person, and since he lives only 15 min from me it's in person more than anything. it's a lot easier to connect with someone and understand where things are going when you're not relying on a typed out message on your computer screen. i'm interested in getting to know a person, not their intraweb facade.
as for the whole rejection topic, Haunted - it sounds like there just wasn't a mutual connection between you and this girl. maybe you were feeling it towards her, but she obviously wasn't feeling the same way. it was pretty low of her to attack you the way she did, but i can sort of understand why she did it: you were pressing her for her opinion, and you were talking online, where it is SO easy to say hurtful things. it is pretty unfair to say that you have an "awful personality". obviously that's only her opinion, whereas another girl might think you have the most amazing personality ever.
in cases like that, it's best to just be honest in a respectful way. she could have said something like "sorry, i am just not feeling a connection" or "things between us are not progressing the way i had hoped" or something to that effect. honesty IS important, but so is respect. |

I'm not sure what "I kept bugging her" means where you are from but in Australia thats called stalking!
She obviously just said those things to get you off her back. |

update: i was working today at abercrombie, and i turn around and shes there, and she smiled at me and said hi, and i turned my back on her. she was there for maybe 15 min, she kept tryin to get close to me.(i was assigned to the girls room) so im fixing a shirt, she goes over starts lookin at the shirt next to it. etc
