I think that pretty much sums it up.
Tonic (and other establishments) should take a hint; if you don't want to loose customers create an experience that makes people want to come (and stay). |

| Ok honestly, I love the smoking ban. I was sick from like march-june, magically a week without smoked filled rooms and my chest/nose cleared up. Soooooo while I don't like it driving people away from the clubs I do enjoy being able to breath again. |

seems clubs are still doing well to me.
Stop complaining, the smoking ban is here to stay.
If clubs are THAT dependent on people coming to the club to smoke, the really should re-evaluate their club and find REAL ways to attract customers. |

i started smoking when i was 13 and im now 20, i recently quit smoking and after smoking for 7 yrs i think that the smoking ban is great coz i dont have to smell the tobacco and get tempted.
its also great to get home and not have your hair smell like a cigarette factory.
the downside is that once things get hot and sweaty like at the guv you do pick up on certain odours that you wish you couldnt smell.
im loving the smoking ban right now coz its helping me quit and i dont smell like smoke when i get home. |

IF the smokers know that the club has no smoking patio, then WHY THE do they decide to enter that niteclub????? if you're there to see a hot DJ, then you gotta decide wether or not you're gonna be smoking that nite!!! IF you want to smoke at a niteclub, goto one that you know has a smoking area/patio!!!
it's really not that hard to figure out!

| We've had one of these in Kitchener for a long time... it's definitely a good thing for the non-smokers, especially guys like me who are sensetive to the smoke (it makes me feel really sick to smell it.) Also I think it might discourage some people from coming to the clubs, which is good for people complaining about the over-crowding too. There's always some good and some bad. |
