Not much help there eh?! Try expanding a little! Geography? What about it? Social and economic infrastructure (or total lack of it in Gaza)? What about it? Whats all this abot Syria having a monopoly of terror?! And terrorism is not a major commodity like electronics or cars is it? |

This isn't just about Israel. I'm talking about the wider context of the war on terror. An independent Palestine will go along way to decreasing terrorist attacks against Israel (tho I do not believe it will end them) but America will still have military bases in Saudi Arabia (and Iraq) and extreme Muslims will still hate the west. At the moment, Israel 'administers' the Gaza Strip (along with the West Bank and Jerusalem) but with out their presence, and when they will have no right to return there (international pressure would be too great I believe) who exactly is supposed to make sure Gaza doesn't become another Afghanistan with all the Islamic terrorist organisations setting up shop there with no protest? And what if they do? Do we attack Gaza like we attacked Afghanistan and Iraq? Thats gonne help the war on terror innit?!?!? |
