Hey all,
This is a true story of a friend of a friend of mine. Its not urban legend and not meant to scare people. Just over a month ago, this young girl met a guy in one of torontos all night club where they partied together. all though he seemed like a nice person, this sick bastard kept offering and insisting she drink water. It turned out that the sicko had arsenic in the water. Earlier on in the morning when they returned to one of my buddies house to chill she ended up having a heart attack. She was rushed to the hospital where a tox screen revealed the arsenic.
This girl partied once and only once in this type of environment. Took only 1 pill. She now has permanent heart and brain damage. She cannot even go for a walk in the grocery store with her mother without having to leave because of heart pains . Im not sure to the extent of her brain damage.
Please, everyone, be cautious. Our partying years are only few in our life time. We should come out of them with memories of good times, not lasting health problems. Dont take anything from anyone you dont know no matter how nice they are. There are allot of sick bastards out there who get off on sick like this. |

there is nothing to gain from poisoning a person with arsenic. |

quote: | During the 18th century, a pale complexion was considered attractive and a sign of good breeding. To achieve their pallor, the members of King Louis XVI's court took arsenic, perhaps weekly. Although we consider arsenic to be highly toxic, neither King Louis nor his wife, Marie Antoinette, died of arsenic poisoning. Actually, even today some level of arsenic in the diet is considered necessary for good health. |

Chronic exposure from inhalation or ingestion may cause hair and weight loss, a garlic odor to the breath and perspiration, excessive salivation and perspiration, central nervous system damage, hepatitis, gastrointestinal disturbances, cardiovascular damage, and kidney and liver damage. Arsenic compounds are known human carcinogens and may be teratogenic based on effects in laboratory animals. |

I feel sorry for the poor person and hope she can recover but you have to be more careful. Theres a limit to even 'partying'.... go out and have a good time but be safe and just dont 'let it all be' |

Dammit man, that really sucks. like this gives a bad rap to the scene. Man, I always let people have some of my water if it looks like they need it, and I'd never give it a second thought when people offer theirs to me. Just rediculous. |
