Oakey Shops at Release Records

well i was reading what was new on Oakey's website as i usually do, when i am bored, and i came across this:

that was from the entry regarding his show in toronto, at the guv at GG. I dont think it could hurt RR to have one of the greatest DJ's ever shopping there, and to actually know some of the staff by name. Good job guys!
He has also mentioned before that Toronto is on of his fav places to play, and this time he gives the nod specifically to the Guv.

I think this guy has toured more than anyother DJ out there. More locations, more shows than anybody, correct me if im wrong. If he says its a damn good club, it obviously must be!
We all know the Guv is packed, isnt that a good sign of healthy business and a healthy following? Even the haters have to admit, nobody touches the Guv's line ups. |

| Release kicks ass. Not only do they supply many of the worlds top djs but they also are connected to the best labels. Jerome personally knows many of the producers, label managers and artists which is why he gets stuff in eons before anyone else. This is also why most of the top DJs go to visit him when they are in town. Release has a lot of the top stuff before these DJs can even get their hands on them :) |

| Indeed...to all the Guv haters lol...I like how you said it...but very cool, Tiesto shops there sometimes too, he was even wearing a release records t-shirt during one of his gigs in holland...now that's special ;) |

| i can believe that oakey loves the guv after seeing him at GG, he was great and played a great set and pumped up the crowd during his set. i should go shopping at RR i never knew they had a good selection. |

Resnick and I were watching oakey from the balcony and the guy was stumbling all over the DJ booth. Maybe it was whatever he was on that helped the set. :stongue: |
