Oh, yeah..... him.
No thanks. Sorry, but I like the old school Bond movies more than the new ones. (Sean Connery > Roger Moore > Pierce Brosnan > Timothy Dalton > George Lazenby) |

Maybe they want James Bond to use a bow, and change his enemies into orcs...
I think the next 007 should be Sean Connery, IMO he was the best
How many James Bond movies have been done so far? |

| I actually reckon Bana could pull it off. He's tough enough (troy, black hawk down, chopper...). Now all he needs to do is get a pommy accent happening and act classy and its all good. Orlando Bloom ust doesn't have enough testosterone in him to play Bond. |

Sean Connery did 7, that is, if you count Never Say Never Again.
And I agree, he was the best actor to portray Bond. |

Agreed.. He might have some charisma, but not the "James Bond" type of charm. I dont picture him , but heh guess I could be suprised.. |

I can't believe that a man who once played "Poida" and "Chopper" will be playing the next James Bond. The Aussies will know what i am talking about. He used to be farkin' hilarious back in the days when he did comedy!!!! |

meh, not a good choice in my opinion. I think Clive Owen would be better. He can maintain a darker atmosphere and charisma about him than I think Eric Bana can, and would have helped turn the 007 series back into something serious and compelling, rather than some movies that rely on pure flash and babes.
*edit* If it's Orlando Bloom, that'll be even worse. We need someone who's suave to be Bond, not someone who's a pretty boy! Orlando's just not versatile enough to play someone with as many inherent contradictions as James Bond. |
